  • Window motor running off of Spike

We want to run two window motors off of spike relays. Our electrical wiring appears correct, but how do we wire/initialize the spike relay in LabPro?

There is a Relay example bundled with the FRC version of LabVIEW. On the splash screen, click Support then Find FRC Examples. In the Example Finder window that opens, open the Actuator folder, then select the Relay Example.lvproj entry and either double-click it or click "Setup".

Bear in mind that some window motors, Banebot motors, and the like can consume significant currents. The Spike fuse is 20A, so you can't get more than 200W of work through it. One advantage of Jags (not their cost) is that they have more than twice the power throughput.
