Jigs for FLL- starting position

I am a coach of a rookie team for FLL and our team had a question on jigs which can be used for positioning the robot. Is jig required to be made of Legos or could be anything out of metal, wood, etc.
I could not find any details in the challenge guide.
Any input/experience which can be shared is appreciated.

According to the rules (Page 7 of the Game Guide) you can use any LEGO-made building parts in their original factory condition.
You cannot use anything that is not LEGO-made.

Thanks for your response. I thought Pg 7 only talks abt parts used in robot construction. Is that also for accessories such as jigs?

Anything you bring to the table as part of the game is called equipment. And equipment is strictly limited to LEGO-made parts.
