  • Should the Axis Camera work in LabVIEW simulation mode?

We have the camera hooked up at ip address (192.168.0.90) and can see video in a web browser. However, when we go to the Target Detection.vi, nothing is displayed in the image area.

Re: Should the Axis Camera work in LabVIEW simulation mode?

Hi, welcome to the FIRST Forums! Sorry to take so long to respond to this post.

The Axis camera should work when running the 2014 Target Detection LabVIEW example code, even with an unconfigured camera. Let me make sure I have the steps you are following correct:

    1) Open the 2014 Target Detection Example
    2) Open 2014 Target Detection.vi
    3) Click the Camera tab on the front panel and enter your camera IP
    4) Click the white Run arrow to start execution.

When you do this you don't see anything in the Image panel at the top right of the window? But you can see video by going to 192.168.0.90 in the browser?

What do you mean by "simulation mode"?
