Our new classmate pc E12 came in. We went to boot it up and there was no operating system on the hard drive. All that came in the box was the computer, charger, and battery. We went to install windows 7 on it and after booting from the DVD it displayed an error that said that it was missing drivers from the HP smartserver files.

The Classmates are intentionally shipped with no OS. If you are a rookie team, there should be a USB stick in your kit with an image that includes the OS. Instructions for applying the image can be found here: http://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/...okie-usb-stickFIRST®

We are not a rookie team. We ordered a new computer with our FIRST Choice credits. It did not come with a USB stick, and now we are stuck (pun intended).Originally posted by Kevin O'Connor View PostComment
