are the cooling fans required to be wired with a relay or can they be wired as a direct load on the PD?

Which kind of cooling fan is it? The ones on the Victor motor controllers can simply be attached to the input terminals on the controller itself. Larger fans can be attached to the PDB if they are large enough. Make sure your wire gauges are compliant with the rules, though. If it's too small even for a 20A circuit, you can probably attach it similarly to the Victor fans.

        K,
You can wire fans either way. The rules do not require that fans be controlled by a relay and for cooling fans you want them to start working when the power is turned on. However, as DR stated earlier, only one wire may be used with each WAGO terminal on the PD. Therefore you can splice multiple fans to one seet of wires or you can use a terminal strip like the one in the KOP to parallel all fans into one set of wires for the PD. Robot rules allow you to use smaller breakers than the 20 amp if you want. All other electrical rules apply.
Sorry I didn't see this earlier.
