  • Handling Sponsor Acknowledgements

    We are a rookie team getting ready to design T-Shirts and give press interviews. As we accumulate sponsors, I am wondering whether we should treat them differently in terms of public acknowledgements. Two examples come to mind:

    1) at an upcoming press interview, should we name all sponsors or just the major ones?
    2) which sponsors should we display on our T-Shirt design, and how?

    Related to that is the question of what distinguishes a "major" sponsor from a "minor" one? Value of financial support? Amount of time invested? Enthusiasm? Assuming any of these attributes were clearly quantifiable or comparable, we cannot know now what their full contribution will be over the course of the year or future years.


    What are your thoughts?
